Family learning encourages families to learn together. Family learning is available to any of our families who feel they would benefit from some support, advice or guidance on how to better support their child’s learning at home.
Family Learning isn’t all about big sessions with lots of parents to learn about how we teach certain things, although this can be useful. Family learning is also about working with families one-on-one and in small groups to help with specific things such as maths, language or even health!
Eilleen Smith, our Family Learning Assistant, is with us every Friday and this is when our family learning sessions will take place. As well as learning, we are also here to help you if you need any additional support, for example with behaviour at home, or perhaps even if you’re just looking for some general advice, guidance, or even just an ear.
